Flu is a Great Way to Spend Spring Break

I was sick all week.  I spent the time:
: grading papers
: watching lectures on the KKK in WI, Pacific theater of WWII, and the Great Depression economic situation compared to today's economic situation.  Love me some PBS.
:eating crunchy things to scratch my throat.
:organizing lectures
:enjoying (?) the lack of responsibility for anything save getting healthy
:drinking coffee to stave off chills then throwing windows open to cool fevers
:staring at birds out of said window, dreaming of new bird feeders and new bird baths and new bird houses for the upcoming spring
:snuggling the two little ones as they came into and out of sickness with me (though much quicker and in a much better attitude than I).
:wishing i had known i was going to be sick so I could have made a preemptive run to the library for some good reads
:being incredibly thankful my husband is as awesome as he is and kept everything moving along while I was in bed....just relaxing of course:)
